Old Man River Statue
This stone conservation project involved very careful color-matching and replication of marble veining. The Old Man River sculpture stands in Woldenburg Park on the banks of the Mississippi River in New Orleans, and it had suffered from previous, inappropriate repairs and cleaning methods. We were able to successfully repair the sculpture with no visible repair lines, and also consolidated the marble to protect it from future weathering.
