This Italian plaster statue was damaged by movers. The damage included broken pieces at the crowns and broken fingers. Our conservators free-sculpted new fingers and crown elements out of plaster, and then painted the areas to blend in seamlessly.

This client preferred the patina of the aged paint, so we were careful to not “over repair” the piece.
